The Algerian Embassy in Bondhoek hosted a communal Iftar (fast-breaking meal) in honor of the Algerian community residing in Namibia. The event was attended by the heads of diplomatic missions from sister Arab and Islamic countries accredited to Bondhoek, as well as representatives of the Muslim community, in an atmosphere imbued with spirituality and authentic traditions.
In his welcoming remarks, His Excellency the Ambassador emphasized the values of tolerance and solidarity embodied by the holy month of Ramadan within Algerian society. He recalled the symbolic significance of sharing Iftar meals in our deeply rooted culture as a firm covenant of mutual support and enduring affection.
