Ambassador's speech

Dear fellow citizens,

Dear brothers and sisters living in the sister Republic of Namibia,

I have a great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the website of our Embassy in Windhoek, which provides a link and a platform for interaction between the Embassy and the National Community in Namibia.

While expressing my gratitude to you for visiting our site, I would like to assure you for our total availability to facilitate all procedures concerning the tasks assumed by our Embassy in Windhoek, and the services it presents to our Community established in Namibia, in accordance with the high directives of Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, President of the Republic, who attaches particular importance to protecting the National Community abroad, preserving its dignity and taking care of its concerns. Important measures have been taken in this respect.

Through this site, the Embassy also wishes to provide the necessary information on its activities, on political and economic activities in our country, and on the facilities granted by the Algerian Government to our dear compatriots, as well as to the business community of both countries, wishing to develop mutually advantageous economic exchanges.

Our presence in this brotherly country, with which Algeria maintains very close bilateral relations dating back to the time when the brotherly Namibian people waged a long struggle against the apartheid regime, and the multifaceted support they received from Algeria, constitutes a great source of pride for us all, and an opportunity to contribute, humbly, to the consolidation and strengthening of these strong ties.

Through this site, the Embassy strives to present information on bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Namibia in various fields.
