In commemoration of the eternal spirit of November, and under the slogan "A Message for Generations," the Embassy of Algeria in Namibia commemorated the seventy-first (71st) anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious November 1st, 1954 Revolution, during an official reception held on this occasion.

The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of International Relations and Trade of the Republic of Namibia, as Guest of Honor, alongside a constellation of high-ranking officials from the Namibian state, including representatives from the Presidency of the Republic and members of the Government and Parliament, and with the broad attendance of members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Republic of Namibia, members of the national community residing in Namibia, former students who studied in Algeria, and representatives from media, artistic, and cultural circles.

This anniversary was an opportunity to affirm the deep bonds and exceptional historical relations that unite Algeria and Namibia, which both shared "the same dream and the same struggle."

The distinguished guests were also briefed, through visual and documentary presentations and a special corner, on an aspect of the authentic Algerian cultural heritage.
