The Ambassador of Algeria to Namibia, H.E. Mr. Abdelkrim Diaf, participated in the proceedings of the third edition of the continental "Invest in Africa Trade Expo & Business Summit 2026", held in the coastal city of Swakopmund, Namibia, from May 28 to 30, 2026. His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Ishak Elacheache, AFA at the Embassy.
This prominent economic event, which enjoyed official patronage and participation from the Namibian government, served as an important platform to present the Algerian approach toward continental integration. The intervention of the Embassy of Algeria focused on showcasing the competitive advantages and guarantees provided by the New Investment Law through the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI). It also highlighted Algeria's operational leadership in activating the AfCFTA zone through the "Guided Trade Initiative" and the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS). Furthermore, it reaffirmed Algeria's full readiness to host the permanent headquarters of the Pan-African Trade and Investment Agency (PATIA) to connect the logistical and trade arteries between the north and south of the continent.
