The Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in Windhoek received today the Honorable Ambassador Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of International Relations and Trade of the Republic of Namibia, to sign the book of condolences following the passing of the former President, Liamine Zéroual.
On behalf of the Republic of Namibia, the Honorable Minister conveyed heartfelt condolences to His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, as well as to the Government and the brotherly people of Algeria. In her message, she emphasized that the passing of President Zéroual is a profound loss not only for Algeria but for the entire African continent, honoring his legacy of service.
The Honorable Minister also reaffirmed the Republic of Namibia’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Algeria during this period of national mourning.
