The Embassy of Algeria in Windhoek participated today, Monday, May 25, 2026, in the celebrations of "Africa Day," organized by the Namibian Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation-Namibia (Trade) in coordination with the African Group of Ambassadors and Hight Commissioners accredited to Namibia.
The event witnessed a distinguished official and diplomatic attendance, during which the Algerian pavilion attracted a wide turnout of Namibian officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and visitors. Attendees had the opportunity to discover the diversity and richness of Algerian cultural heritage through a varied display of traditional dishes and authentic sweets, alongside heritage costumes and artifacts reflecting Algeria's deep-rooted historical identity.
